It is in fully functional condition. The spring is strong, and the body is free of dents. The follower and base plate are both good. The base in engraved with a serial number. This magazine definitely has finish wear that is apparent in the photos. This is not the prettiest magazine, but it is in good working order. Someone with a little more time than me could definitely clean this magazine up. Please understand that this is military surplus and has finish wear consistent with use, handling, and long-term storage. This mag is ugly, but it works. Like me.
