Description: Very unusual signed photo of Heavyweight champ (1930-32) Max Schmeling who was a German national. He defeated Joe Louis in 1936 but loss in a rematch for championship in 1938. After loss, Adolph Hitler was displeased with his loss and his refusal to join Nazi Party, he was assigned as a paratrooper in WWII. Schmeling died as the oldest surviving champ in 2005 at age of 99. Photo has slight damage in photo but picture is quite clear.
