Description: Stunning copy of the original 1957 mono pressing LP of Shelly Manne's Modern Jazz Performances of Songs from My Fair Lady, on Contemporary C-3527. Original yellow label. Features André Previn on piano as the main featured player, and the great Leroy Vinnegar on bass. Fantastic classic west coast jazz. This copy is simply gorgeous inside and out. The disc is very nearly perfectly mint and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. The cover is also almost immaculate, with only the lightest shelfwear. No seam splits, no ringwear, and no bent corners. A bit of wear on some edges, mainly at the top of the spine where the outer paper is rubbed away for about an inch. The spine is fully readable and beautifully intact. Absolutely a gorgeous copy to see and to hear. Hard to top.
