This is a great opportunity to buy many of the cards in this collectible set. Each of the ten postcards feature a beautiful woman with a dressing mirror. The cards are each heavily embossed as shown. Each has a saying with a reverse printed response that can only be read by holding to a mirror! Each postcard in this set is artist signed Dwig. Back of the cards are printed and read Germany Serie No. 30. C.V. Dwiggins "Mirror Girl" postcards were published by Kaplan. The set has twenty-four designs. Each card shows an elegantly dressed young woman, some blond, others brunettes or redheads, each holding a postcard in one hand and standing in front of or holding a postcard to a hand mirror enabling them to read the message on their card. The mystery message is, not surprisingly, difficult to read until it is held in front of a mirror. The messages are all quite simple, “Will you be mine?” “Think of me sometimes.” “Won’t you say, yes?” “Forget me not.” or “Wish you were with me!” Card backs are divided and none are postmarked. Condition is good as shown. The watermarks are not on the postcards you are buying here. All of our cards are shipped safely inside a rigid postcard mailer.
