We usually cut the lace out of the restorations, but this one just didn't work without the lace. It feels fresh to us. The wounded Sacred Heart brings us grace and refreshes our souls. We find that keeping devotional art in our home helps keep us mindful of the spiritual side of our lives, and this picture is a little lift: We love being the little doves in Jesus's life!We have also restored a companion piece of the Immaculate Heart in the same style as this piece, with the same size heart surrounded by doves. Something silver-toned or gold, or a light wood like a light, thin oak. The print will last for generations when kept out of the direct sun. There is about an inch-and-a-third of white space around the picture. Cardboard backer.
