This replica is fully marked on the neck: 7956 Heubach Germany 7 (head), matching the original doll details. She features tousled brown sculpted hair accented with forelock curls and shaded coloring, intaglio blue side-glancing eyes, white eyedots, black upper eyeliner, brush stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, bisque porcelain and ball-jointed body, no costume. We found no identifying marks on the body, which is reminiscent of the German style #14. The overall appearance is very good with some wear to the body finish. She measures 14” high. This Heubach doll is among the rarest of the early sculpted hair models by the firm. It shows exemplary modeling and expression, fine bisque painting. The doll stand is not included in the auction.
