RCDM Bed Rails For The Axial Jeep "Mighty" FC Rock Crawler Body / SCX10

Description: Hello Folks! I am offering up an RCDM (RC Don Manufacturing) custom made 3D printed bed rail system for the Axial Jeep "Mighty" FC 1/10 scale crawler body. I designed this bed rail system to accent my Jeep FC body and protect the body from roll over damage. These rails give the body a custom scale appearance that is like no other with tie down anchor holes built right into the rail !!! This bed rail system was custom made for the Axial FC 0.040" vacuum formed polycarbonate body (AXA31268) and is held in place with 11 - M2.6 screws and blind nuts that are included. This set also includes a set of body support plates (see pictures) that can be screwed to the underside of the body (in place of the blind nuts) which keep the body from "warping" when installed on the chassis. The body supports can be trimmed shorter if needed for clearance for rock slider bars / plates. The body supports do not have to be used to add the rails to the body.This design has been "rock" tested for many hours of crawling on some of the toughest terrain imaginable. Get your RCDM scale FC bed rails to protect your RC investment and improve scale appearance !!!Be sure to check out the new bed rack system (sold as part #RCDM048) that bolts up to these bed rails!!!Note: This kit requires drilling 15 - 7/64" holes in the FC body which can be done easily using the side rails as a layout tool. First place one of the side rails on the body and align it so the curved end lines up with the tailgate end of the bed. You can then drill through one of the existing holes in the rail into the body and then follow it with a M2.6 x 10mm screw and blind nut. Tighten the screw and make sure the rail is where you want it. You can then drill the rest of the holes being assured they are in the right place. Repeat this step with the other rails and you will be done ! Now you will be ready to hit the trail with a custom look that fits the FC perfectly !!! It takes us 6 hours to print and inspect each bed rail set!This auction is for 1 black 3D printed ABS plastic bed rail assembly (three rails, two support plates - see picture), 11 - M2.6 x 8mm hex socket button head screws, 6 - M2.6 x 6mm hex socket button head screws and 11 plastic blind nuts (RC rock crawler vehicle in pictures is not included).This kit will require a 1.5mm Allen wrench to assemble as well as a 7/64" drill bit to install the rails on the polycarbonate body (not included).All of my 3D printed parts are made right here in the USA on American Made FDM type printer machines.
