Description: This is a vintage Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) TV. You remember these tube TVs back in the day or else you wouldn't be clicking here. They weigh a metric ton and will take up a large shelf, but the picture quality really has a look that today's LED screens cannot match. CRTs are perfect for playing old video game consoles. They have the screen technology (with scan lines) and aspect ratio (square 4:3) for which the games were designed and look best. Of course, you can also hook up your VCR and watch old TV shows the way you remember. Heck, with the right converters, you can even hook up modern AV equipment to them (like Roku streaming boxes) and watch any show you want. CRTs also have so much more character than today's boring flat black rectangle TVs. Each one had it's unique look, from wood grain accents to knobs to buttons to little LED displays that show you the channel. I'm an enthusiast for these old pieces of tech, as you can probably tell.
