Description: Up for Auction is a Rare Vintage 1940's-50's Clapps Baby Food "Liver Soup" Tin. 4 1/2 oz. Nice!!!! I see no real damage. Some corrosion on top and bottom. A little Age Wear. (Please see Pictures.) It is a small Clapp's strained Baby Food Tin. Harold Clapp's created the first commercial baby food for his ill son in the 1920's. He then started selling it to the public after his son got better. I do not know how old this tin is but it is very old I would say the 1940's-50's. The company started in Rochester New York. It is approx. 2 3/4 inches tall, and 2 1/4 inch diameter. Very Rare Piece. This piece would make a great addition to your collection. Very Good Condition for the age of it. I bought this at a Estate Sale. We pack everything extremely well and safe. Shipping and Handling will be $ 5.00 in the USA. I will Discount shipping if you win more of my auctions around the same time if you let me know. Please feel free to ask questions prior to bidding. Please no scams and GOOD LUCK!!
