Description: Up for bid is an extremely rare resin cast by artist sculptor extraordinaire Tony McVey of the Ray Harryhausen Cyclops character from the 7th Voyage of Sinbad film from 1958.In close to mint condition. Measures approximately 9" tall. I purchased this item from the original owner over a decade ago and when it arrived it experienced damage during shipment with the left arm having broken off mid bicep. I did a repair job using epoxy to reattach the broken part. The seam itself is slightly visible as shown in the last closeup photo in this ad. Thanks to a friendly tip from another eBay viewer, I discovered that Tony McVey is the artist responsible for this very fine interpretation of the Cyclops character. At the time of purchase this item commanded a pretty high price and I have listed this figure to reflect its rare nature and superb likeness. The quality of this is certainly heads above the ubiquitous Cyclops kits offered for sale and its rare nature makes it an awesome addition to any serious figure collector's collection.
