It features several images and a wonderful essay about the Italian visionary artist SIMON RODIA, who settled in Los Angeles around 1920 and began creating his famed sculptural installation on his property until about 1954. The Watts Towers (formally titled Nuestro Pueblo) has become one of the country's most widely recognized works of American Folk Art and was officially designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1990. This 11 page softcover stapled booklet with original tissue guard leaves measures 8" x 5", and is in excellent vintage condition; Crisp and clean through out with very minor cover wear as shown.
