Description: STAX 45-243 This is an obscure one for sure. Released by Memphis Soul label STAX in Jan 1968, The Memphis Nomads were a group of white kids. This Memphis garage band also was known alternatively as Poor Little Rich Kids. This 45 single was recorded in Memphis TN for local release as a benefit for March of Dimes. The music is surprisingly good. Sound quality and engineering are great as it was done at STAX. This copy for sale plays great on both sides - minimal background noise and no pops or skips. Only slight surface scratches and a slight ring on the label. Comes with generic sleeve.
