Description: Stunning large and unusually designed Buddhist Bronze Temple Bell . The decor around the suspension hook is extremely rare and still preserved in a very good shape. Bell is in very good condition and still produces stunning sound . It is signed and dated to Bunsei 5 or 1822. It is also inscribed with the temple name it belonged to, located in Hyogo Prefecture Myoju-ji temple . The bell is decorated with two symbols of Nikko and Gakko Bodhisattawas, attendants of Amida Buddha. Myojyuji Temple was destroyed during early Meji era .
