The guard/muzzle ring has been ground off, and the locking button has been removed. The knife blade is straight and sturdy and free of any cracks or major chips. The blade edge is sharp enough to cut, but has some edge rolling and small nicks and a worn tip. The wooden handle scales have various chips and scuffs, and one side appears to have been heavily damaged and repaired at some point. The metal has various scuffs, dust, rust or patina.
