Description: This is a rare and exquisite 19th century Japanese bronze mirror with a Kagami handle, signed and boasting an decently intact silvering and mostly intact handle wrap. The piece is a remarkable antique original from Japan, made in the later 1800s or early 1900s by a Japanese maker. I cannot translate the script please check the pictures. This is bronze in construction and is made very well! A definite conversation subject for display! The silvering may be able to be polished but I didn't want damage this piece with the wrong rubbing compound. If you have any questions or need additional photos please feel free to contact me.
