This beautifully modeled figurine is a spectacular and rare piece by the great French animal sculptor Armand Petersen (1891-1969). It is an incredibly rare and collectible piece. The figurine is factory first quality, made and hand painted in Denmark in the period 1915-1947. This figurine is in excellent condition, with no cracks or chips or repairs. I can see two small discrete firing marks from factory production pictured in final 2 photos. No other apparent issues or concerns.
