Description: This is a beautiful brand new handmade baby quilt, made by my 92 year old Mother. The quilt is 38" x 52", which is much larger than most other handmade quilts listed. It is a Log Cabin design, the top was machine stitched, she uses polyester batting for just the right softness and fluffiness and then she beautifully hand quilts the entire design. Most of the other quilts on ebay are all machine stitched, hand quilting makes a much prettier quilt. The colors are gorgeous shade's of pink yellow and white and the backing is a solid pink . The fabric is mostly 100% cotton, there could be some cotton/polyester blends also. The quilts are machine washable on the gentle cycle and tumble dries beautifully. It comes from a smoke free home. This quilt should be treasured as an heirloom of a dying art. This quilt can be passed down from your child to their children and will still be just as beautiful then. I have quilts my Mother made for my children that they are now using for their children, my grandchildren. This also makes a very special baby shower gift, everyone always ohhs and ahhs over her quilts as the quality is amazing. This could also be used for a lap quilt, a throw for a sofa or a wall hanging in a nursery or anywhere.
