This rare treasure has some clearly visible wear/age, but when considering its' scarcity and desirability, is still in Highly Desirable, Highly Collectible condition! The wear, however, should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying. The book appears gently read and other than some pencil writing on the first, blank page, has no internal writing, no remainder marks, no missing pages and is NOT Ex-Libris or a BCE. The binding is holding firm and tight! All of the pages and illustrations are present, fully attached and still surprisingly crisp and clean! Some general/shelf/age wear along with creases/marks/wear to the spine/corners/boards, marks/wear to the edge/fore pages and creases/indentations/marks/discoloration/wear to the pages, NOT affecting the text! Please note the wear to the pages, particularly noticeable on certain pages and on the top edge pages! The wear is clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered. As mentioned before, there is some internal writing! The writing is located on the first, blank page and has been written in pencil. We assume the writing could easily be erased but we elected to leave it simply because it contains some brief but pertinent info regarding this book. Initially, we believed the writing may have been done by the publishers and/or artist. Similar, delicate pencil writing as found in the signing and numbering of the book. Since we cannot confirm that suspicion with any acceptable degree of certainty, we MUST proceed under the assumption that the writing was simply done by a previous owner and/or bookshop in which this copy was sold. The writing/page has been closely photographed for your consideration. We tend to grade the condition of our books rather harshly and took into consideration any and all wear when determining the value of this rare book.
