Description: Pair of Large Italian Painted Bronze Orientalist Style Jardinières Planters 36" A fabulous pair of Italian, probably Venetian, painted bronze planters (jardinières) with marble bases. Done in an orientalist style, with two Indian youths wearing traditional Indian clothing and turbans. Painted mainly in green and gold with a slightly metallic finish. They are 36" high by 18" wide at the widest part. They are fully three dimensional so they could be put in the middle of a room and viewed from all angles if desired. They are 20th century and weigh approx.. 120-150 lbs. each. In excellent condition with some verdigris on the base of one. Guaranteed to be as described.
