Description: This listing is for ONE mushroom. These mushrooms were carved from aspen logs using a chainsaw. They have been treated with two coats of linseed oil and sealed with two coats of spar urethane. They are roughly 14 inches tall and roughly 8 inches wide across the caps. The white spots have a bit of discoloration. This is due to the sealer used. There are some cracks in them. This is normal. Wood carvings tend to crack. These can be kept outside, but do not sit them directly on the ground as this will cause them to rot. Some type of barrier should be between the Mushroom and the soil. Preferably something that allows air flow to pass under the mushrooms. Small wooden spacers can be used. They would be fine placed directly on gravel as well. These are safe to be kept outside, but I recommend keeping them in a cool shaded location out of sunlight. The excessive heat and harsh uv lights from the sun are very hard on wood carvings. Some cracking may occur over time. Cracking is a common occurrence in wood carvings.
