Signature Confirmation will be required with this item. Presented for your visual satisfaction as well as bidding approval is this vintage circa 1955 Omega Constellation model 2852-5 SC wristwatch. The timepiece measures approximately 34mm in diameter and 42mm lug to lug with a band width of 18mm. Although there are the anticipated minor nicks and fine scratches the stainless steel case with thick dramatic lugs is in very good condition. Free of any notable faults, the replaced crystal offers an unobstructed view of the soft pale gray reconditioned dial with stunning rose gold arrow hour markers, hands and lettering. Of note, both the raised rose gold "Omega" name as well as the star is somewhat askew; nonetheless, the watch remains quite attractive. Powering this vintage gem is a signed Omega caliber 501,19 jewel movement. Currently the timepiece winds, sets and keeps decent time although unerring accuracy is not guaranteed, nor should it be expected. If optimal timekeeping is required, a cleaning and adjustment is always recommended particularly when the winding is somewhat stiff as is the present case. This vintage gem, fitted with a like new tan strap, has a total length of approximately 8 3/4th inches and will make a welcomed addition to your collection.
