OMEGA Constellation Quartz Day Date - 18ct Gold & Steel

Description: This OMEGA Constellation Quartz Day Date wristwatch is a timeless piece of Swiss-made elegance. With a gold and steel case finish, this watch features an asymmetrical watch shape and a multi information dial displaying time, day and date. The bracelet strap is made of stainless steel and metal, with a fold-over push-button deployant closure that ensures a secure fit for wrist sizes up to 18 cm. This carries a Quartz Swiss V8 6 jewelled mechanism, 255471 which is correct for this model and original as pictured and has a new Swiss made Renata 373 battery, the mechanism keeps excellent time as you would expect from an Omega, unsure when it was last serviced but expect it was in the last ten years given how well it keeps time. the black on the Roman numerals on the bezel has recently been re-done and the Clasp pin cover is a brand new replacement with the Omega pin cover purchased from a well known Omega parts dealer. It doesn’t have its original box sadly but comes with the Omega travel case as pictured for storage - no foam inside as it’s been kept in tissue. The bracelet feels good, it has signs of use but still very functional. The watch as stated before does have signs of use and a small blemish on the dial, but for being nearly 40 years old it has survived remarkably well. The Re- doing of the bezel enamel and the clasp obviously cost quite a bit to do but as the photos show, believe it was well worth getting it done. Asking £899 for this watch to reflect the work already done and as it’s ready to wear and still looks fantastic. Postage is special delivery so it is fully insured for transport to its new lucky owner. The watch has a date indicator, 12-hour dial, day/date function, and as mentioned the Swiss-made quartz movement. The case size is 33mm, with a thickness of 5mm. This vintage watch was manufactured in 1987 according to the omega website and has a reference number of 396.1070 and 396 1080 on the inside of the SnapBack as pictured.
