Roberts in black ink, written on one side of a single sheet of folio-sized writing paper, with printed address header 'Englemere / Ascot / Berks.' Wove paper watermarked 'Hodgkinson Co'. 1863'. Dated '14th October, 1914'. Addressed to 'Dear Mr. Chadwick'. Recipient's address typed at foot of letter. Size: 25.5cm x 20.5cm.Very Good condition. Folds for mailing, and light overall creasing. Some offsetting of signature ink just below date line. Light age-toning to folds. Top two panels on rear of letter with slightly more pronounce age-toning. No tears or stains. A nicely preserved letter.
