Description: NOS! Set of 2 Vintage Bright Brass Plated Steel Cam Action Window Sash Locks This listing is for a set of two (2) Cam Action or Draw Tight Window Sash Locks for double-hung windows. The vintage window sash locks have a Bright Brass finish and are in very good, unused condition. These brass plated steel window sash locks come in the original sealed bags containing 4 matching screws. This type of sash lock draws the upper and lower sashes together at the check rail. Also known as a ‘jimmyproof’ sash lock because it is resistant to opening with a knife from the outside of the building. The two-piece vintage sash lock has a lock base that measures approximately 2 9/16” wide by 1 7/16” deep and 15/16” tall. The catch or keeper is about 2 3/16” wide by 3/8” deep and 3/8” tall. These sash locks are designed to draw together the two sashes up to ¼” as they are locked. Cam locks can also be used on tables to lock together the leaves. There may be some light surface scratches and minor discoloration from decades of storage. Each lot is two (2) packs of one (1) window sash lock for a total of two (2) sash locks.
