As a result, there was a need to be able todifferentiate between the new 2015 edition and the older 1987 edition. To do this, the old editionstarted being referred to as the Classic amplified bible or AMPC.However, when the older edition was printed, it was not printed with that title. The title was givento the bible after the new edition came out.This bible that you have purchased has the older 1987 text which is now called the Classicamplified bible (AMPC). The text in this bible matches what biblegateway.com calls the ClassicAmplified Bible (AMPC).Hopefully this clears up some confusion.
