This ORIGINAL, COMPLETE newspaper (44 pgs) is loaded with all the international, national, regional NY news, entertainment, sports, business and advertising of the day. Highlights in this edition include the headline of Mayor La Guardia getting re-elected and Thomas Dewey being elected District Attorney. In sports news, Hall of Famer Charlie Gehringer of the Detroit Tigers is named the AL MVP for the 1937 season. This newspaper is folded in the middle as it is home delivery edition and not cut from a bound volume. In FAIR/GOOD condition for it's age, it shows yellowing, some staining, edge tears and flaking and is fragile, especially along the spine and fold lines. Also has a fairly extensive water stain along the top (see pic). Be advised that some pages may show separation at the spine due to the fragility of the paper.
