The counters have been re-manufactured printed on waterproof glossy paper and mounted on 1.5mm card. Requires the original component game to play. IntroductionOn the 22nd of June, 1941, Germany started the invasion of the Soviet Union. This operation was designated "Barbarossa". This Panzerblitz Variant will present a hypothetical attack by Turkey in support of Germany. The Turkish army was equipped with German, French and Soviet weaponry. I would seem a worthy project to examine a Turkey/Soviet Confrontation. Let us suppose that Turkey used alleged mistreatment of Muslims within Soviet borders as an excuse to garner Soviet territory in the area of the Caucasus between the Black and Capsian Seas. Naturally the strong Soviet defense was tempered by the oil producing areas within the theater of operation. This variant will require the gameboards from Panzerblitz, Panzer Leader and the Arab-Israeli War designs by Avalon Hill. All the counter needed in the scenarios should be supplied but they are compatible with Panzerblitz counters.
