Description: This is a hand crafted bird feeder was made from rough cut pine lumber. One side was planed smooth, while the rough side was sanded lightly. Note: only use sunflower or other large seeds in this feeder, as smaller bird seed will fall through the wire mesh. Here are some of the nice features of this feeder. The cover has a cove detail cut in the perimeter on both the top and bottom edges. This is not only decorative, but helps the rain water runoff. The cover of this feeder lifts up making it easy to fill and the weight of the feeder locks the cover in place. The feeder is supported by ⅛” stainless steel aircraft cable so it will never rust. The loop on the top is adjustable to fit most any size hook or tree branch. This feeder has a rounded bottom to allow the birds to get the very last sunflower seed. Stainless steel staples are used to hold the mesh in place, so they will never rust. Aluminum flashing is installed on top of the wire mesh to protect your hands from sharp edges.
