Description: Nancy Ann Storybook Doll #8L Lynn Wardrobe Chest from 1952. Believe this might be a harder to find item? that can be seen in the Encyclopedia of Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls, Volume 2 (Blue Book) as pictured on page 230). Found in this wardrobe chest was a NASB hard plastic doll and additional outfits and accessories, but I have no clue if it is the doll and outfits that originally came with the chest or if this is just a NASB doll and extra outfits that were stored in the chest by the previous owner. In fact, the dressed doll looks like He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not, as pictured in the blue book on page 138. Chest measures approx. 7" long x 4 3/4" wide and 3 3/4" high and comes with a lift-off top attached to the base with a string of elastic, and includes a pull out drawer with a ribbon pull tab. Wardrobe chest has wear due to age and handling including browning, peeling, dents, and tears (most of the tears are along the backside and along the edges - see pictures for best description of wear). Comes with a hard plastic Nancy Ann Storybook doll with open and close eyes, wearing a very pretty pink floral dress with black lace trim. Her pink felt bonnet is also trimmed in black lace. Comes with an extra green dress with flowers and ribbon attached at the waist, and a matching green felt bonnet. There was also a lavendar ribbon and piece of lavender feather trim that were found with this outfit so have kept them together. Second outfit included is a white dress with blue flower print and thin blue cord trim around the waist and towards hem area, and includes a light blue felt bonnet. Additionally, a brown purse and a pink "Storybook Dolls" hanger were found in the chest and are included. All outfits, including the dress the doll is wearing, are in good shape but could just use a light steaming or pressing to free them of their wrinkles.
