It remains is in Very Good condition, although the condition of each volume varies slightly from volume to volume. These books are in incredibly great condition considering they have been loved by young children for many decades! This set still has lots of love to give! It is looking for a new loving home to be treasured for the next 77 years! This set remains bright and clean set of volumes with with only minor wear. It is a hardcover set that is bound in colorful green and blue cloth wrappers and colorful illustrations pasted to their front covers. The front covers and spines feature gold gilt lettering. The bindings are all still secure, with no loose or missing pages. The interiors remain a bright white and feature beautifully illustrated pages, in both black and white and full-color. While the vast majority of the pages in this collection are clean and free of markings, there may be a previous owner’s name or inscription at the beginning of the book, or it is possible that there could be a stray crayon scribble, as each page was not inspected individually. Each volume measures approximately 9.5” tall by 7.25” wide. When these 12 volumes are placed all together on a shelf, they measure over 12 inches across.
