Description: A vintage 5 light chandelier made in Murano, Italy circa 1970. This is from a recent estate auction and is in need of restoration due to missing and broken pieces. There are a few amateur repairs that have failed as they are very old, this was not damaged recently but was not taken care in the previous home. This light has been rewired at some time, this is part of a lot of 3 near identical chandeliers that were removed from the same estate and this one is wired with more modern fixtures not made in Italy. The glass is clearly the same as is used in the other two lights that have the proper electrical fittings for a Murano chandelier from this period. It is not known if the rewiring was done by a professional or the homeowner. All components still present are pictured in the third photo with greater detail available in consecutive images. Due to the fragile nature of this item shipping it fully assembled is not possible without a high likelihood of severe damage. This item has been disassembled for shipping and it will be the responsibility of the buyer to partially reassemble the chandelier and to reconnect the candle sockets. This item will be very well packed in a padded box and insured against any potential damage during shipping.
