Description: Monette B4S-S2 trumpet mouthpiece. I purchased this mouthpiece direct from Monette about 1 year ago. I've played a Bach 1.5C for decades and I wanted to experiment with something new. After 3 months I decided to go back to the Bach. To each his own, the Monette had a bigger sound, and I could be more flexible with the approach (hard to explain). Endurance was about the same. The only drawback was my articulation wasn't as sharp as I like -as an orchestral musician. I honestly think I'm just so used to my Bach I probably can't make the change. The condition is good. Insertion marks on the shank as expected. The rim is perfect, the body is good with only small imperfections from use. Never dropped, never stuck, never abused.
