Description: Hard-to-find vintage set of 10 bright yellow dessert/ snack/ bread & butter plates made by Metlox Potteries of California in the 1980s. The pattern is called "Lotus" by Poppytrail and features various pieces shaped like lotus flowers and leaves. These plates measure 6" in diameter and have a beautiful majolica look with scalloped edges. All are marked on the back and have the 3 pin marks characteristic of this style of pottery. Best of all, they are all in outstanding condition with no chips, cracks or even utensil scratches...they do not appear to have been used. I have the matching mugs and serving plate for this set under separate listings. This pattern and color would be fantastic for summer entertaining!
