The pulley ring and cover are anodized in black, and all included fasteners are stainless steel or zinc plated. All components are precision-machined on a state-of-the art CNC lathe and are perfectly balanced to ensure smooth operation at all engine speeds and to maximize reliability. These pulleys are manufactured with great care, and special attention is paid to the shape, height, and spacing of the pulley grooves to ensure maximum belt engagement. This extra effort makes it unnecessary to add a textured surface to the pulley ring, as these coatings contribute to belt noise, belt dust, and they rapidly accelerate belt wear.
