Description: Description Since its introduction in 1934, the D-28 has remained the central model of acoustic guitars, and its appearance and specifications have been loved by guitar fans all over the world as a standard form of the famous guitar. This square-rod D-28 was made in 1973 and features a Tocitocas spruce top, rosewood sides and back, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and original Grover pegs. The pickguard has been replaced with one of the same size. The sound is heavy, powerful, and thick, typical of the 70's. The sound hole area shows signs of having been played. The soundhole area shows signs of having been played, giving it an appearance typical of its age.Cracks have been repaired from the pickguard to the bridge. A strap pin has been installed at the heel of the neck, a pickup has been installed in the past, and a jack-sized hole has been drilled at the end of the body. The guitar has fine weather checks and scratches all over the top of the body, giving it a 70's look. Comes with original blue hard case.
