This design is a great combination of using the most famous Martin model and providing a new sonic experience with the tonewood choice. Quilted Pommele Sapele provides the most organic, lush and percussive tones. Players will realize a balanced response that is wildly responsive and offers a true representation of the player’s style. While the top-end output of this guitar is not that of a spruce topped design, players looking for a warm and round playing experience that is accentuated by the dreadnought design will love this instrument.The Dreadnought body style gives players plenty of output while still highlighting the organic sonic nature of Quilted Pommele Sapele. Players will find the top to be very responsive and will draw out overtones with ease. To provide the most lively, responsive and articulate tone while maintaining the integrity of the Quilted Pommele Sapele, we have selected 5/16” scalloped bracing. The slightly thicker bracing keeps the top sounding clean and the implementation of scalloping the bracing allows for enough flexibility of the top to get lots of volume.We couldn’t design this model without some classic cosmetic appointments.
