Description: Item Description A 1992 scrapbook of images of Marilyn Monroe collated and previously owned by the photographer Joseph Jasgur. The scrapbook contains 28 various photographs of Marilyn from her first modelling sessions with Jasgur in 1946, copies of proof sheets with annotations, text from his book ‘The Birth Of Marilyn: The Lost Photographs Of Norma Jean’ and other text and images. Jasgur has written a dedication on the black & white image on the front of the book, ‘To Debbie with love from both of us, Joe Jasgur 3/4/92’. The item was previously sold as part of lot 714 in the Julien’s Auctions ‘Icons And Idols’ sale in December 2011. It measures 26.5cm x 31.5cm (10.5 inches x 12.5 inches). The condition is very good. Very Good = Some wear and tear but overall presentable and usable. Good = Apparent wear and tear but with obvious deterioration of the condition. Poor = Extremely worn. A plus or minus after the grading indicates that the condition is marginally higher or lower than the stated grade.
