Persistence means your files should not be deleted when your live boot is powered off, but can only be applied to one Linux OS. That's Ubuntu on this USB. We will be offering persistence for the other Linux operating systems in the future. Software installed will still be lost at reboot. Any of the live Linux operating systems can be used to install that Linux to the computer. By default they will all boot "live" which means it will boot into RAM (Memory), and does not alter the contents of the hard drive. If you mount the hard drive from within the live boot, and delete data, that data will be lost when you boot back into your host OS (Windows/Mac). DISCLAIMER: This is an advanced tool.
