Linhof Technika IV 4x5 Large Format

Description: The Linhof Technika IV is a heavy duty and rugged large format camera that is capable of folding up into a self-enclosed metal box. Quick to set up and close down, the camera is highly portable, durable, and fast to use. On top of that, it is capable of a large array of movements including a center axis front tilt, rise, shift, and swing. This last is one of the big improvements the Technika IV made over the Technika III. Additionally, the camera has a rotating back and rear bellows extension, to allow it to focus much closer for technical work or to better accommodate telephoto lenses. This rear bellows extension can also be used to give the camera a rear tilt and swing. A beautiful example of precision German engineering. I do not know if this camera is a "super technika" or regular. The camera is definitely in working condition, but there are a few issues. The bellows has been repaired so it is light-tight, but if you plan to use it regularly I would definitely suggest having the bellows replaced as I suspect it is original, meaning about 60 years old. The hand grip and the optical viewfinder seem fine, but they are not able to be mounted. Not sure what piece is missing or broken. Otherwise, I think everything is in working order, but I have not used the camera in many years, but I was never aware of anything not working properly. No lens is included, but I am also selling a 180mm f/5.6 and a 150mm f/5.6 lens...see my other eBay listings.
