It ran from 1964 until 1968, with its first issue being February 25. Consisting of articles, interviews, concert updates, record reviews, this is a magical snapshot of music history as it was being made. Great coverage of the British Invasion. The Beatles, The Who, Rolling Stones, The Hollies, Them, The Yardbirds. Filled with photographs, ads, contests and drawings. Truly a time capsule of a decade of massive change not just on the music scene, but on the social, political and economic as well. The fashion trends, then breaking bounds of lyrics, body movements, social norms and explosions. Look through these now and looking at where we are now.... beyond fascinating.
