The cooler lines are disconnected from the transmission, and both J-35944-A is connected to the J-44835 adapters, and the transmission oil cooler and lines are flushed clean per the instructions included with J-35944-A. J-43772 Oil Pump Seal Installer Applications: ALLISON 1000 & 2000, Medium Duty TruckJ-43772 is designed to install the oil pump seal to the correct depth for proper operation. The seal is placed into its bore, J-43772 is installed over the seal, and driven into place with a rubber mallet. J-43911-2 Selector Shaft Seal Remover Applications: Allison Transmission 1000 & 2000 and B series, Medium Duty Truck 3/8"-16 Shaft End J-43911-2 has a .510"/.505" tapered buttress thread and is used to remove the selector shaft seal with the transmission "in-vehicle." The body of J-43911-2 is placed over the selector shaft, and tapped lightly to engage into the outer lip of the seal. The body of J-43911 is then turned approximately 1/4 turn to fully engage the seal. Then, the body is held, and the screw of J-43911-1 ( AVAILABLE SEPARATELY ) is tightened against the selector shaft to draw the seal from its bore. J-43909 Selector Shaft Seal Installer Applications: Allison Transmission 1000 & 2000 and B series Installs the selector shaft seal with the shaft either in place or removed. J-44257 Wiring Harness Connector Remover Applications: ALLISON 1000, Medium Duty TruckJ-44257 is used to disconnect the vehicle electrical connector from the transmission. The electrical connector must be squeezed on the sides to expand on the top and bottom and allow the lock tabs to fully disengage for removal. The connector is located in close proximity to both the exhaust and several heat shields. J-44257 will grip the connector to properly release the lock tabs, and minimize the chance of damage to the connector, harness, or the transmission.
