It reproduces the appearance around 1970, when steam locomotives were nearing their end. This steam locomotive can pass through a small radius of R150, making it suitable for operation in small layouts and small spaces. Equipped with a coreless motor with a flywheel, which is standard equipment for KATO steam locomotives, the C12 has excellent low-speed running performance.
