Description: Here is a terrific antique collectible done by Joseph Hohler, of Sitzendorf Germany. Mr. Hohler created these porcelain monkey figurines beginning in 1920 and continued until the middle of the century. I do not know how old this particular monkey is, however I believe it is closer to the 20's than the 50's. It is numbered on the bottom. As I can make out, the numbers are 4407, underneath which is a logo, and underneath that is the letter S. My photos vary slightly in color - it's true color is a soft medium brown. This monkey is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It measures 5&1/4" long, 3&1/4" wide, and sits a little over 2" tall. Shop Code: 19
