Description: This awesome 100% merino wool blanket is the Hope Chest model from John Atkinson & Sons from England. It has a Gattle's from Cincinnati label, so that's presumably where it was sold. It it approx. 63" x 85"- great for a twin bed. It has nice pink satin trim at both ends. It is in very good vintage condition. The only flaw I could find was some small holes in the trim from a staple where the dry cleaning tag was- they may come out or go back to normal after a while- I just removed the tag. I found no stains or holes on the trim or blanket.I am also listing a similar blanket with blue trim instead of pink. It is slightly larger!
