Jackson Brown: Hold Out 1980 Asylum 5E-511 Doug Sax @ The Mastering Lab Press EX

Description: For sale is a vinyl record by Jackson Brown titled "Hold Out", originally released in 1980 by Asylum Records, a division of Warner Communications Inc. According to the liner notes, this record was mastered by Doug Sax. In the dead wax, between the labels and the last tracks is etched "TML-S", along with "EDP" inside an oval, followed by an upper case "S", with a smaller "R" and "C" inside its coils, indicating that this record was mastered at The Mastering Lab, then lacquered at Europadisk of New York City, New York, before this record was made at Specialty Records' pressing plant, located in Olyphant, Pennsylvania. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put this album into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with this release. The original inner sleeve is graded as Excellent because of wrinkled and bent corners. The archival inner sleeve is Near Mint. The cover, which is still in its original shrink wrap, is graded as Near Mint with two minor corner blunts. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint, with surfaces that are shiny and bright, in a like-new condition, without any surface scratches, sleeve marks, smudges, scuffs or spindle marks on the labels. I'm play grading it between Excellent and Near Mint because of occasional super low levels of background noise, barely noticeable. It plays all the way through without any pops, lock-ups or skips from start to finish. This is still the one of the best copies of this album that I have ever seen or heard.
