Isolina Limonta is a Cuban artist, a graduate of the San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts in Havana, Cuba, who also completed postgraduate studies at the Higher Institute of Art in Havana. She is a master printmaker specializing in collagraphy and a member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) and the Experimental Printmaking Workshop of Cuba. She has been recognized for her mastery of color and textures in her graphic work. The bodies of her figures come to life through small intimate elements of her life: plants, coins, feathers, architecture, lace, or buttons, imparting a rhythmic and colorful language to her images.
