Description: Passenger Car Interior KIT for the Rivarossi 85ft Smooth-Side Duplex Sleeper Car Included in the KIT are 10 pieces of “sleeping passengers”; 4 singles and 6 doublesThe “sleeping passengers” are separate to facilitate painting.Seated and standing passengers NOT included! There are notches in the floor to fit around the protrusions and the roof/window latches. This KIT consists of 2 pieces to be glued together to create the interior. “Super Glue” works well; please heed warning below. When gluing the parts together use a ruler to keep them straight. The beds in the compartments are the flat rectangles for the installation of the “sleeping passengers”. The seats are low, to allow for the installation of an LSW beneath the interior floor for car weight. Lower level seated and standing people should have their feet trimmed. LSW078 is recommended for weight because it clears the window locking tabs and guides. (You still have to mark and punch out the holes for the 5 “pips” and truck screws.) (Lead sheet is not included with the kit.) Bond the completed interior to the previously installed LSW078 with automotive weather stripping adhesive. Put frosty tape on the inside of lavatory window for privacy. The depicted Duplex Sleeper car with the shown LSW078 weighs 7.2oz L = 11 5/16in.; W = 1 3/32in.; H = 7/8in.; Weight = 1.3ounces I attempt to provide the most accurate description possible.
