Description: This was a project that I started a couple years ago, my intention was to build the quintessential travel guitar. I took a stock Hohner Rockwood 30” kids guitar, swapped out the stock volume pot, added a tone pot, swapped out the stock bridge pickup, added a neck pickup, installed a 2 position selector switch (the difference in tone is minute). The volume and tone knobs are genuine Fender and the strings are Ernie Ball. The body of this guitar is pretty good overall, any dings have been touched up with red enamel paint. The neck is in great used condition. Guitar comes with a case, though it does not zip up completely anymore. The instrument plays OK, but could play better once the intonation is adjusted (mostly the D and G strings). Input Jack is also a little loose. Otherwise this guitar would make the perfect travel companion or an excellent youth/beginner guitar. Please see all photos and contact me with any questions you might have. Thanks for looking!
