The shade is painted outside and inside with a panoramic scene of mountains, lakes, rocks, and trees in beautiful naturalistic colors under a pale sky with pinks and peach. Most of the scene is painted on the exterior with painting on the interior to deepen the colors. The shade is signed Handel 6951 and has a full artist signature for John Bailey. The Base is a very rare model with 6 curved feet. The base is signed Handel in the metal. Both the shade and base are in excellent condition with not cracks or chips to the shade and the base has an excellent original patina. This a rare and beautiful scenic Handel.
