Description: Hand Carved Canadian Native Iroquois Soapstone - Artist Dereke Thomas 1985. This is by far one of the more interesting pieces of art that I've come across and I could not be more upset at the obvious damage. This is a beautiful, hand carved piece by Canadian indigenous artist Dereke Thomas and it's dated to 1985. This piece has scuffs, scratches and chips throughout. I have photographed from all angles so you can judge for yourself if you think the piece is salvageable to you. This piece is signed by the artist on the bottom and also includes a date of '85 and another has number that I assume was for cataloging it I found this figure to be far too intriguing to leave behind on a more recent pick and hope that someone can give it a loving new home. Measures roughly 5" long by about 4.25" tall. I'm very happy to answer any questions you might have. Thanks for stopping by to have a look
